Is there something that i386-nat.c could do to help? IIRC, when I
wrote the generic x86 watchpoint support, I did look at the code
someone (perhaps even you ;-) posted in the past, and I think
i386-nat.c should support the procfs interface on x86 platforms. But
perhaps I missed something.
