Sorry about listing the wrong date: I saw it with a 2003-02-03
snapshot, too.
I'm using an old binutils, the one with Red Hat 7.3:
jackfruit$ rpm -q binutils
binutils-2.11.93.0.2-11
The other failures that Michael Chastain claimed were binutils-related
looked familiar, too. So that may well be the culprit.
