>Description:
(gdb) exit
Undefined command: "exit". Try "help".
(gdb) quit
The program is running. Exit anyway? (y or n) y
This is really annoying! Mostly because I always forget which is the correct way to do it, and I am reminded of how annoying it is every time I use gdb.
I know this is petty, but it is far and away the most annoying feature of gdb.
>How-To-Repeat:
Start gdb. Type exit. Scream. Type quit.
Read "Exit anyway?". Scream again.
>Fix:
Either allow exit as an alias for quit, or ask the question
Quit anyway?
