State-Changed-Why:
Mmmm, it gives me a warm feeling to re-test an old bug report and find that it's fixed in gdb.
This works fine in gdb 5.3, gdb gdb_6_0-branch, and gdb HEAD, with all versions of gcc (2.95.3, 3.2-7-rh, 3.3.1, gcc-3_3-branch, HEAD) and binutils, and with -gdwarf-2 and -gstabs+.
Progress!
