Hello,
I can't reproduce this with native i686-pc-linux-gnu, red hat linux 8.0,
ncurses 5.2.
It may be a problem with your installation of ncurses, such as a
mismatch between the curses.h header file and libncurses.a library.
What Linux distro are you using, and is there a chance that your
curses package has been mis-installed or partially re-installed?
