It works for me.
I built gdb+dejagnu-20040115.tar.bz2 on these systems:
native i686-pc-linux-gnu, slackware 9.1.0
native hppa2.0w-hp-hpux11.11
I ran the "break main; run" test.
On hp-ux, I needed to use gnu gcc (for dejagnu c++ requirement -- I have hp aCC, but dejagnu configure script does not detect it) and gnu make (for expect). After I added those to my path, the snapshot built fine.
