GNU gdb Red Hat Linux (5.3.90-0.20030710.40rh)

I debug an application that was compiled on a different machine and its sources debug information points to a local path on this machine, there for I cannot debug my local sources.
When I used dbx on Solarice I used pathmap to replaced the source paths, but it seems not to work in gdb
