You're using the HP bundled compiler. This is not an ISO C90 compiler,
and recent versions of both binutils and GDB require an ISO C90
compiler in order to build.
There are HP/UX packages of GCC available, if you don't have a license
for the full HP compilers. I recommend you use those.
