This is a vendor GDB, with local patches.  It's possible it
contains bugs that pristine FSF GDB of the same date doesn't
have.

Yes, there aren't many chances of us knowing what is happening
without more info.

 - a backtrace of the crash (you can use the core dump that your paste
   indicates was generated).
 - a small reproducer.

Please do try a recent FSF GDB snapshot.  A lot has changed
in the past 6 months.  Building gdb is really not hard, and this
may be fixed already.
