Stabs(+) still does not work; in fact, it works even _worse_ than previously:
(gdb) p bar
$1 = (Bar *) 0xffffffff
This happens with both 6.8 and 7.1.
Assuming that no sane person would actually use stabs(+) with C++ today, I am
unable to reproduce this with GDB 6.8 or 7.1 using DWARF debug info, so I am
closing this bug. It has been fixed a very long time.
If stabs(+) is important to somebody, please submit a new bug.
