From: rodneybrown@pmsc.com Date: Thu, 04 Mar 99 11:21:28 -0500 Patches to build gdb-4.17.85 on UnixWare 2.1.1 enclosed, retested on Solaris 2.5 after my changes - one reversion (timeout), - I suspect that was an interaction with the automounter. The changes are minor, pushing more stuff into configure.in mostly. Now I have a better idea how the config directory stuff works they're more than was needed but could make supporting UnixWare 7 easier. Thanks, I'll take a look at these. Should I put back Joel Silverstein's <jds@novell.com> patches for hardware watchpoint support on i386v42mp (based on 4.15 ~ 1995-10-19) or didn't he supply a Copyright Assignment? I hunted through my archives, and found a reference to Silverstein's Unixware work in general, but also an analysis by Fred Fish that indicated there were a number of problems. Also, I don't have any record of a copyright assignment. Since GDB has changed plenty since 1995, it's probably simpler just to start over on this, perhaps using any old code as reference material.
