Note that "(C)" has no legal effect whatsoever wrt copyright.

The law requires either the c-in-circle symbol, or the word "Copyright"
(the abbreviation "Copr." is allowed).  The word "Copyright" is a replacement
for the c-in-circle, so you should never put both together. [ref. The Chicago
Manual of Style]
