Please ignore my previous message. I just found out that the user having the
problem had been compiling with gcc-3.0.4 and not gcc-3.1 When the test files
are compiled with gcc-3.1, gdb appears to work correctly on Solaris (Solaris 8
with -m64). It still does not work on DEC TRU64 (V5.1) but that may be fixed
in gdb-5.2.1
