debugging ARM thumb mode instructions on a board

Subject: debugging ARM thumb mode instructions on a board

Hi all,

I am trying to remotely debug on an ARM processor that is running thumb 
mode rather than ARM mode instructions?  Just wondering, does GDB supports 
thumb mode instructions?  If it does, how can I tell GDB to do that or it 
does it automatically?
