I have been trying to reply on Annett's question, but it seems that I have
been blocked by a spam filter (my ISP where my mail server is located
probably also host porn sites).

I have compile the program under Debian 3.0 (woody) using gcc 2.95.4 and
GSL 1.1.1. The command line was:
gcc test.c -lgslcblas -lgsl
It worked as it should.
