Hi!

I don't remember the packages I used with redhat, but on
Mandrake I use the package that comes on the ISO CD of last
version 9.1. To solve the problem, I used gsl-1.3-0.src.rpm,
from rpmfinds if I remember well, and compile it with the
flags recommended for Pentium 4 in the INSTALL file.

I have no time to work on this currently, but I might try
later to emulate the problem again if you estimate this is
worth it.

Thanks for the problem report.. could you provide more details
about
where you downloaded the RPMs and what was the version number was.
