predicate of gh_define-result?

hello,
(apologies if this is the wrong list. can't find any other.)
I need some help in determining the type
of objects returned by gh_define:

proc is a Guile procedure defined with 2 formal parameters. 

SCM func=gh_define("bla",proc);
Then:
gh_display(func) ==> (bla . #<procedure (m w)>)
gh_symbol_p(gh_car(func)) ==> TRUE
Now, what type is gh_cadr(func) ?Tests
using everything from gh_boolean_p to gh_procedure_p
return FALSE.
I was hoping for it to be a procedure.
