startup speed

Just have to add my ha'p'nyworth, I think that startup time really ought
to reduced. I want to use
guile in a cgi-based web application. The performance, however, will not
be very good as it will be
necessary to start the interpreter every time a script is executed.
Hence my comments a few weeks
ago about an apache-mod-guile. Alternatively, a client-server
interpreter approach would work quite
nicely ;-)
