My 2 cents worth are these: o what value is there making guile different to RnRS when the non-compliant behaviour can be enabled so easily if desired? o some SLIB modules (for example, yasos) currently don't load properly without an (admittedly trivial) guile specific hack Now, one might claim that SLIB should be more conservative in its use of case. Maybe. But it doesn't change the fact that SLIB's present usage is completely consistent with the current language specification. If something should change, I really do think it should be the non-compliant thing unless there is a very, very good reason to do otherwise. jon.
