Since things won't apply cleanly against the current cvs (oh, the hassle of it all) this is another full patch against the current cvs sources. Changes: Michael Livshin's modification to boot.scm to allow usage of ice-9, with an added warning about using ice-9. Added gc-compat.h, which defines compatibility macros old allocation <-> new allocation. Removed the final traces of the experimental stuff from configure.in Added modified configuration files; you can build and install as thing, so you can play around with this without screwing up other stuff, like scwm. It installs libthing, thing-config, thing-snarf, /usr/local/share/thing, etc... libqthreads isn't modified.
