choosing a proc from many

(apropos 'random) displays the following:

the-root-module: gs-srandom     #<primitive-procedure gs-srandom>
random: gs-srandom      #<primitive-procedure gs-srandom>

How do i choose which version of gs-srandom to use? I'd like to 
use the one in the random module.
