As I already mentioned, I'm trying to provide a curses-based widget set
for guile. It should be flexible enough to e.g. manage html-forms.
Now that, following the TODO list of guile, a new Tk interface is in
work which eliminates the detour over tcl, I wonder if it will be written
in a way that Tk could be replaced with a curses based backend, making
it almost possible to use the same code to run on pixel displays as on
ascii/vt100-type displays (some Tk widgets of course have no sensible
counterparts that can be displayed without pixel munching). There was
something similar for tcl7.4 which got discontinued, i.e unavailable
for tcl8.*.
