Re: Scwm-0.99.2 pre-release available!
Greg,
My setup is admittedly not altogether stable:

egcs-2.91.66

binutils-2.9.5.0.4-1a

GNU ld 2.9.5

kernel-headers-2.1.24-990810
So my C++ compiler does seem to be the same version as yours, but I do
have a strange mismatch between the Linux kernel and the kernel
headers. People are working on this, and it does not seem to cause
many problems. But getting things working is a matter of luck. A
consequence of Goedel's theorems is that there are correct algorithms
without finite correctness proofs, so I don't hope to get by without
luck....
Anway, if someone with LinuxPPC-1999 or YellowDog is watching this, I
hope they'll go to ftp://upintheair.cs.washington.edu/pub/scwm and
give it a try. And I'll watch for new versions from you or other ways
I can make a new attempt at getting Scwm compiled.
