I've written an ftplib that makes use of guile's tcp/ip functionality. It
works for (at least) Ariel and me. I've not tested it against solaris
(where I've heard it has a problem. . .I don't currently have access
to a solaris machine), but it's worked okay on Linux and BSD-based
clients aimed at Linux and BSD-based servers. For those of who are

FWIW, it's the first "real" thing I ever wrote in scheme, so I'd
imagine there are some better ways to do things.
