>Description:
I cannot build Insight on a solaris platform.
I let configure guess the platform.
The generated makefiles try to link libieee (-lieee) and dont link with the solaris network (-lsocket -lnsl).

I tried to fix the generated makefiles, but I gave up when the gdb makefile tries to find the file <endian.h>

Have someone tested the solaris compilation? Where could I find a binary distribution for Insight on solaris?

Below is my configuration:

rdykiel@jets [5]: uname -a
SunOS jets 5.6 Generic_105181-19 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-5_10
rdykiel@jets [6]: gcc -v
Reading specs from /home/rdykiel/local/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-solaris2.6/2.95.2/specs
gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)

thanks
