I will correct this by removing the references. I don't have a
"Makefile.non-gnu" (or even a "Makefile.non.gnu") available, it would
be somewhat tricky to write because libcrypt.so.6 includes md5-crypt,
which is part of the main glibc distribution not the package.
It would be particularly bad to have a system with md5-based
passwords, compile libcrypt.so without support for them, and install
it; your system would be unusable.
The first version with this change will be numbered 2.0.108.
Note that the linuxthreads README also claims it can be built
standalone; is this still correct for the version that is a libc
add-on?
