vfork glibc clarification

Could we get a clarification on the exact status of vfork in the cvs?
I take it that the vfork implementation on all platforms including ppc
was broken in glibc 2.0.110. Has this problem already been addressed for
all platforms in the cvs? Being so close to the release of glibc 2.1
it would be unfortunate if vfork was left broken accidently for any of
the platforms. Thanks for any information.
