>Description:
<precise description of the problem (multiple lines)>
I installed glibc 2.1.94-3 together with the following
packages:
db1-1.85-4
db2-2.4.14-4
db3-3.1.14-6
rpm-4.0-4

All packages were found at www.rpmfind.net
The install were done in runlevel 1 with a single
command line.
After this, my rpm database was gone. rpm now reports
that no packages are
installed. I tried "rpm --rebuilddb", but it didn't
seem to do any work at all
(harddrive led showed no activity) and my database did
not return.
>How-To-Repeat:
	<code/input/activities to reproduce the problem
(multiple lines)>
Since rpm doesn't work, I can't uninstall the
packages, so I can't reproduce
the bug. My old version of glibc was 2.1.3-15. Rpm was
3.0.5-9.5x.
I didn't have any of the db[1,2,3] packages until now.
>Fix:
<how to correct or work around the problem, if known
(multiple lines)>
I don't know! I hope you can answer that!

If you are not the ones that should have this bug
report, then please tell me!
Also feel free to mail me if you need any more info!
