Err... First, I'm told it's best to submit patches in small pieces.
Then, I'm asked to hold off and submit the whole shebang when it
works. I'm confused :-)
So far, I'm just trying to restore mips-linux to a buildable state.
Unfortunately, I didn't check whether it actually built before I
started contributing my patches, I can't see how it possibly could.
