HJ,
I tried a set of test builds against debian ppc sid tonight of
your two patches...
http://sources.redhat.com/ml/binutils/2003-05/msg00425.html
http://sources.redhat.com/ml/libc-alpha/2003-05/msg00117.html
against tonights glibc cvs and binutils 2.14.90.0.1. Both
binutils and glibc passes make check fine however when I
remade the testcase from...
http://sources.redhat.com/ml/libc-alpha/2003-05/msg00104.html
I get...
cc -c -o new.o new.c
/tmp/ccJjELyg.s: Assembler messages:
/tmp/ccJjELyg.s:122: Internal error, aborting at ../../gas/subsegs.c line 521 in section_symbol
Please report this bug.
make: *** [new.o] Error 1
Do you see this? Perhaps I need binutils cvs instead of 2.14.90.0.1
for that patch to work?
Jack
