Translating Mandrake into uzbek I wanted to include support for
cyrillic-uzbek. So, Pablo Saratxaga, a person who is responsible for Mandrake
i18n, suggested (according to iso-15924 code for Cyrillic) to introduce
uz@Cyrl locale.
Actually, it is my fault. I had to ask glibc people first.
So, please, feel free to change it to whatever you think is correct. The most
important is that there is cyrillic-uzbek locale in glibc. Although official
script for Uzbek language is latin, cyrillic is still mostly used script.
Thanks,
Mashrab.
