the history of ports into the libc repository.
Users of ports will most likely be putting it in a "ports" subdirectory of
libc at present when building, so on that basis as well putting it in a
ports subdirectory, then renaming the files, would seem a natural way to
reflect the change as it will be seen in the source trees used for
building.
