Was this bug in 2.15? If so, I think the patch should be backported to
2.15 (and we should have a bug for it in Bugzilla - in accordance with the
rule that developers finding a bug that was user-visible in a release
should file it in Bugzilla even if immediately fixing it, so people can
search Bugzilla for known fixed bugs - that bug should be added to NEWS
as fixed for 2.16, and should be marked with the glibc_2.15 keyword for a
backport).
