I've added:
* Compatibility code for Linux kernel versions before 2.2 has been removed.
Note that glibc is not expected to work with any Linux kernel version
before 2.6.
If pre-2.4 removal also gets in before 2.16 then obviously this will
change to refer to 2.4 instead of 2.2. (I don't propose removing 2.4 and
2.5 support until after 2.16 is released.)
