Correct. We have the option to try now to figure out all the possible
solution for non-used situations or implement a more pessimistic
method and let those who insist on using these compilers do the
optimization work. I certainly don't care in the moment enough to
justify spending much time on optimizing glibc for these situations.
If nobody sees a technical problem with the approach I outlined I'll
implement this.
