Yes, definitely.  There are many things fix in 2.1 which will not be
fixed in 2.0.

Plus: if you update your glibc 2.1 copy now you get a fix for your
problems.  I came up with an kind of ugly fix for the problem.

2.1 will be released when

- Linux 2.2 is out

- and I have the latest ISO C 9x draft and made sure everything is
  implemented.


I already stay away from waking big changes which are not really
needed for the release.
