Supposing that you've compiled with -mieee, and sysdeps/alpha/Makefile turns that on, Alpha should be IEEE compliant modulo Inexact exceptions. (You can use -mieee-inexact for that, but it's soooo slow...) Discrepencies may be the result of kernel bugs. r~
