the highest organ on language questions in Poland, on 10 jun 2005 gave answer.
There are 4 equal groups of abbreviations for computer programs:
a) s-ñ, l-y, m-c, k-ñ, m-j, c-c, l-c, si-ñ, w-ñ, p-k, l-d, g-ñ;
b) st., lt., mrz., kw., mj., czrw., lp., sp., wrz., prn., lst., gr.;
c) stñ, ly, mrz, kñ, mj, czc, lc, sñ, wñ, pk, ld, gñ;
d) STY, LUT, MAR, KWI, MAJ, CZE, LIP, SIE, WRZ, PA¬ (lub PAZ), LIS, GRU.
In localedata and in ISO/IEC TR 14652, point "d)" was always. Three letters and
no dots.
