I can't tell what you are asking about. There is nothing
preventing you
from writing your own add-on for more processors.

powerpc_cpu add-on?
One goal of powerpc_cpu is to be a convient collection point for
performance features for the whole powerpc family.
Right. I was under the impression that powerpc_cpu was not yet in,
but under consideration. If so, read my message as lending support
for the idea. If it's already in there, or supported, then read my
message as the mindless blatherings of a broken mind. ;)
If it already exists, then we will look into getting some code to add
to the collection.
