libstdc++-2.8.0 compile errors

System:
GLIBC-2.1.1     GCC-2.95

When I try to compile libstdc++-2.8.0, which I only seem to need to be
able to run Netscape, I get the errors mentioned in the attached logfile.
How do I solve this?
For the rest of my system I'm a happy user of libstdc++-2.90.6...
