gcc-3.0 for HP-UX 11.0

Hi all.

I am attempting to build gcc-3.0 and libstc++-v3 for my hp. System info:

HP-UX rds294 B.11.00 U 9000/785 2000387327 unlimited-user license

I am getting nothing but road blocks.

My configure looked like:

> ls
gcc-3.0 gcc-3.0_obj

where gcc-3.0 is the source and gcc-3.0_obj is my build dir.

so:

> cd gcc-3.0_obj
> ../gcc-3.0/configure --prefix=/home/wurgler/local

If I start with a PRISTINE obj dir, then gcc will build. After the first time
it fails with all sorts of weird errors. But to continue:

This does NOT build a libstc++ library file. So I then try to do

> make all-target-libstdc++-v3

This fails every time.

I can send the output of the above if it will help. But maybe I am just
doing something wrong?

Thanks for any help!

Tom
