FWIW, all newlib FAILs (all UNRESOLVED cases) are due to:
*/ld/ld-new: cannot open linker script file idt64.ld: No such file or directory

Ah, 16 multilib configurations -- but no indication of which one is
being tested. I'm not even sure if it really tested 16 different
configurations. Oh well...
