OOPS! Found a typo (bad paste). First attempt was with userid "anonymous".
Wes
I am running a script, mingw-w64-build-3.2.3 , that aborts with
cvs [checkout aborted]: connect to sourceware.org(209.132.180.131):2401 failed: Connection timed out
I have tried using command line (linux) cvs, setting my CVSROOT thus:
export CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous@sourceware.org:/cvs/pthreads-win3
And using "anonymous" as the password when I respond to the prompt after doing a "logim"
Also tried "anoncvs" as userid and password. No difference.
Can someone either suggest what the script might be doing wrong, that I need to do to make the script happy, or kickstart the cvs server?
Many thanks,
Wes
