Those who use recent g++ may.

Install jade or openjade (more preferable), and use
"configure --with-installed-nsgmls"
But you have to know that LDP currently starts moving toward
the DocBook DTD finally, though current HOWTOs are all written
in the LinuxDoc DTD yet.
