stock kernel 2.6.24 built with preemption enabled. I tried this on 2 different
smp systems. Happens with 32 or 64 bit x86 kernels (i686, x86_64).
>stap -e 'probe kernel.function("*@kernel/sched.c").call {}'
system reboots. No messages written to console.
