[Bug testsuite/11525] New: pr10854.exp locks up expect run

Running pr10854.exp on:

Host: Linux rhel.wildebeest.org 2.6.18-194.el5 #1 SMP Tue Mar 16 21:52:39 EDT
2010 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Snapshot: version 1.2/0.144 commit release-1.2-71-gfc1d2aa + changes
GCC: 4.1.2 [gcc (GCC) 4.1.2 20080704 (Red Hat 4.1.2-48)]
Distro: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.5 (Tikanga)

Gets expect (and apparently some other processes) in the wrong state (T tracing
stopped). It seems some rounds of pkilling work, but then things get stuck.

Things work fine on fedora 12.
