Mark Salter suggested that armv8-uefi-v3.13rc is the prefered branch out of his git repo to work on.
I tried to do a merge between armv8-uefi-v3.13rc and the arm64-kprobes-v2 branches and there are a couple of files that conflict:

CONFLICT (content): Merge conflict in arch/arm64/kernel/Makefile
