You are using obsolete versions of both xconq and Tcl/Tk, so I am not
suprised that things don't work as expected. I recommend that you check out
a fresh copy of xconq (7.5pre, January 2003) from the CVS repository and
upgrade to Tcl/Tk 8.4.1. There has been a large number of bug fixes and
improvements since xconq 7.4.1, which is more than two years old.
