- Subject: New IMFApp and Xconq binaries
I have just completed a major overhaul of IMFApp, the image utility program
for Xconq. In particular, the tcltk version (used on the Unix and Windows
platforms) has been improved. All types of images now load correctly and a
number of bugs have been fixed. An important new feature is the ability to
load and save imf directory files as well as normal imf files. This was
previously only possible with the Mac version of IMFApp.
Compiled binaries are available for Mac (PPC, OSX and TCL) and Windows
(TCL) at the usual place:

The Xconq binaries have also been updated.

P.S. If you load "imf.dir" with all the images that are available, this
uses a huge amount of memory. You may therefore get an out of memory error,
depending on your platform and on the available memory.
P.P.S. The Unix version of IMFApp is called ximfapp. It is built if you do
"make all".
