- Subject: Updated Xconq library
I have checked in a major update of the Xconq game library. A number of
games have been added to the game list or promoted to release status. The
three general options see-all, world-seen and sequential have been enabled
for all games. Several problems with scorekeepers and game-submodule
interactions have been fixed. Instructions and blurbs have been updated.
Features and feature names have been added in several games.
Games with improved graphics include Beirut, Fantasy and Magic, Ancient
Greece, Panzer, Ancient Rome and Wizard.
Games with more extensive fixes and improvements:
Beirut. Now makes full use of the new self-unit code. Each side starts with
five warlords, one of which is the leader. If the leader is killed another
warlord is promoted. When a side runs out of warlords it looses the game.
Civ2. Several bug fixes. Barbarians and lucky huts now work as expected,
and the AI no longer hangs. The game is now playable, but the Wonders of
the World and most city improvements still don't do anything.
